It's been awhile - Update!!

It's been awhile. Let me catch you up to date....

Steven and I broke up in October, just didn't feel the connection we once had. We weren't making time for each other, so to me that spoke loudly. I think I had secretly known for awhile that it was over but didn't want to face it!
Jacklyn, Rob & Chloe moved out of Dad's in January. Dad really needed someone to be at the house mostly for the dogs, after hinting for over a week, he finally just came out and asked me. The kids and I  have been there since Feb. 27/11 and they absolutely love it. I don't mind it too much, I have had a lot more free money than I'm used to having. I also bought myself a car. Its a white, 4 door, 2006 Saturn Ion. i really like it, it works well!

I thought before I moved to dad that I might be uncomfortable while there alone...But to my surprise it has been very peaceful! Mom is there with me a lot but she has been with me a lot since crossing over but that doesn't scare me in the slightest!

Goddess Arianmor

Goddess Lakshmi means Good Luck to Hindus. The word 'Lakshmi' is derived from the Sanskrit word "Laksya", meaning 'aim' or 'goal', and she is the goddess of wealth and prosperity, both material and spiritual.Lakshmi is the household goddess of most Hindu families, and a favorite of women. Although she is worshipped daily, the festive month of October is Lakshmi's special month. Lakshmi Puja is celebrated on the full moon night of Kojagari Purnima.

The Lakshmi Form:

Lakshmi is depicted as a beautiful woman of golden complexion, with four hands, sitting or standing on a full-bloomed lotus and holding a lotus bud, which stands for beauty, purity and fertility. Her four hands represent the four ends of human life: dharma or righteousness, "kama" or desires, "artha" or wealth, and "moksha" or liberation from the cycle of birth and death.

Cascades of gold coins are seen flowing from her hands, suggesting that those who worship her gain wealth. She always wears gold embroidered red clothes. Red symbolizes activity and the golden lining indicates prosperity. Lakshmi is the active energy of Vishnu, and also appears as Lakshmi-Narayan - Lakshmi accompanying Vishnu.Two elephants are often shown standing next to the goddess and spraying water. This denotes that ceaseless effort, in accordance with one's dharma and governed by wisdom and purity, leads to both material and spiritual prosperity.

A Mother Goddess:

Worship of a mother goddess has been a part of Indian tradition since its earliest times. Lakshmi is one of the mother goddesses and is addressed as "mata" (mother) instead of just "devi" (goddess). As a female counterpart of Lord Vishnu, Mata Lakshmi is also called 'Shri', the female energy of the Supreme Being. She is the goddess of prosperity, wealth, purity, generosity, and the embodiment of beauty, grace and charm.

A Domestic Deity:

The importance attached to the presence of Lakshmi in every household makes her an essentially domestic deity. Householders worship Lakshmi for the well being and prosperity of the family. Businessmen and women also regard her equally and offer her daily prayers.

On the full moon night following Dusshera or Durga Puja, Hindus worship Lakshmi ceremonially at home, pray for her blessings, and invite neighbors to attend the puja. It is believed that on this full moon night the goddess herself visits the homes and replenishes the inhabitants with wealth. A special worship is also offered to Lakshmi on the auspicious Diwali night.

Blog Talk Radio

Ok so I've been pretty much listening to blog talk radio for a month or so. I've decided to keep a record of what shows I'm getting messages from. This morning I was listening to From the Wings of an Angel.(answered 2.10 into the show) In chat I asked if they seen a special man coming into my life anytime soon.

Lynn said: I got a very  big yes straight away, I've had to do the love hearts on my paper...Very positive on the romantic front. I'm drawn to take a angel therapy card from Doreen Virtue and I pulled the Goddess card it is talking about the divine feminine energy within you. This is what is going to draw in this lovely partner that I feel soon actually. Very good positive happy feeling about a new romance on the way.

Quiet

What a quiet day...It was so gloomy and rainy and windy all day. My energy was low today and I felt tired most of the day. I attended my first council meeting tonight. It was pretty uneventful other than I got my new xerox machine approved. *Bonus!!* Yay! You know you enjoy your job when the only thing I have to complain over is the copy machine...hehehe
I've really been feeling mom and the angels around me lately which is very comforting. The signs are coming at a steady pace and I'm loving it! I'll have a question on something and five minutes later I get my answer from the radio. Coincidences = Synchronicity

Monday is almost done..Thank Goodness

So today was just a regular day at the office. I woke before the alarm today, which rarely happens but I'm guessing it is due to daylight savings change Saturday night. 
I don't have a whole lot to say tonight. I'm going to attend my first council meeting tomorrow evening. I have had plans on attending before but something always seems to come up last minute. 
I did my Raphael painting last night but I'm not 100% satisfied with it so I will retouch when I decide what it needs. I keep getting messages that I need to give up the coffee but I know it will take time. 
I have been trying to make sure do my best to get a meditation in everyday. Taking care of myself!! :)

Sunday after Finger 11

So last night Crys went to see Finger 11, and it was an absolutely amazing show! We were standing against the gate, front and center! I thought I got some really good pics but they kinda turned out just fair with a few good shots. Oh well I have it etched in my memory. So the time went back last night. It was nice to get an  extra hour sleep. 
I'm trying to get myself motivated to paint something. Been checking out some stuff on deviant art, there is so much inspiration there :)
